NEW DELHI, December 24, 2022: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' entered Delhi on Saturday, December 24, 2022, after covering over 3,500 kilometers in 115 days. A massive crowd of supporters gathered to welcome Gandhi and join the final leg of the journey.
Gandhi, accompanied by senior Congress leaders and party workers, entered Delhi through the Badarpur border. Thousands of people lined the streets, waving Congress flags and chanting slogans in support of the party. The yatra proceeded towards Red Fort, where Gandhi addressed a rally of supporters.
During his 10-day visit to Delhi, Gandhi is scheduled to meet with political leaders, foreign dignitaries, and members of civil society organizations. He will also hold press conferences and participate in cultural events.
The 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' was launched on September 7, 2022, from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu. The yatra has covered 12 states and two Union Territories, and has been seen as an attempt by the Congress to revive its support base and connect with the people.
